Homework: Week #13

1) Post an update regarding your final to the blog.

2) Put together a movie of your work in chronological order from this semester (a master list of what should be in this movie is outlined below). Please put a black frame with the week number, assignment, your title, length of your piece, and additional animators (where applicable) in front of the corresponding clip. Hold black frames for 5 seconds. Example:

Title-01

3) Post this movie on the blog along with its contents (how to make a content list is also outlined below), bring a hardcopy with you on Friday and upload it to the class computer prior to 12:10, and be prepared to burn this compilation and your final project to a DVD which you will hand in the last week of class.

CONTENT LIST

In your post below the compilation movie please provide a detailed outline of the master list. You will need to print out a copy of this list and hand it in with your DVD the last week of class.

  • For animations: include the name of the piece, its length and additional animators.
  • For links to blog posts: physically include the url and link it to the post.
  • For explanations: Towards the end of the semester you were given the choice to animate with a new technique or work on your final. Please be honest in your assessment of how you used this class time. Just showing up to class does not mean that you were an active participant.
  • Do not skip any master list numbers. If you did not do the homework or were absent from class, note that information for that particular assignment. (Note that being absent from class does not mean that you are excused from the homework assignment.)

Examples of Master Content List:

  1. Week #2, Classwork: Group Found Object Animation — Absent
  2. Week #2, Homework: 20 to 30 second Found Object Animation – Cheese on a Chessboard, 24 seconds, +Abby Remishoo
  3. Week #3, Homework: link to blog post of Group Pixelation-Preproduction – https://theartofstopmotion.wordpress.com/pixelmecrazy
  4. Week#4, Classwork: Group Pixelation with Sound – Senor Don Gato, 1 minute, +Abby Remishoo, Tim Greene, +Mimi Yoo

NOTE: If you worked with someone exclusively this entire semester (which I think only Wenwen & Yang and Brittany & Jessy did) you only need to make one movie and hand in one list on Friday.
